Answer: http://ccat.sas.upenn.edu/ceas/ I currently work at the Center for East Asian Studies of the University of Pennsylvania. My duties include teaching about Japan, China, and Korea, as well as administrating the meajor in East Asian Area Studies, advising students, and coordinating academic activities.

1. Please describe briefly how the Japan Foundation Fellowship experience influenced your career.

Answer: The JFF experience allowed me to embark on my career. By facilitating my research, as well as advanced training in Japanese language and research methods, it was an essential step in getting me to the position I currently hold. In addition, the JFF allowed me to make initial contact with a network of scholars, many of whom I remain in contact with on a regular basis.

2. The Japan Foundation is planning to create a network or forum among past Japan Foundation fellows. Please let us know if you have any suggestions in terms of themes, format, etc.
