1. Please describe briefly how the Japan Foundation Fellowship experience influenced your career.

Answer: I had a Japan Foundation Doctoral Dissertation research fellowship that was key to my research and writing at Tokyo Geijutsu daigaku and for the completion of my doctorate. I had a JF research fellowship in 2007 which was key to my research in Buddhist art history. A book and article were aided by this fellowship.

2. The Japan Foundation is planning to create a network or forum among past Japan Foundation fellows. Please let us know if you have any suggestions in terms of themes, format, etc.
