Optional Inquiry:
1. Please describe briefly how the Japan Foundation Fellowship experience influenced your career.

Answer: Helped support my research in critical ways. I am very thankful.

2. The Japan Foundation is planning to create a network or forum among past Japan Foundation fellows. Please let us know if you have any suggestions in terms of themes, format, etc.

Answer: I think there are already too many "networks" being pushed (if there is a need for such a network, I believe it will spring up according to the efforts of participants and that the Japan Foundation itself need not serve as a secretariat, etc. Let the participants be creative and realize that many individuals are already swamped by obligatory participation in various networks related to research. So, to be useful, it would need to fulfill a unique purpose.
