1. Please describe briefly how the Japan Foundation Fellowship experience influenced your career.

Answer: It allowed me to complete research for my dissertation and also meet scholars in my field. The completion of Ph.D could not have been possible without Japan Foundation dissertation research.

2. The Japan Foundation is planning to create a network or forum among past Japan Foundation fellows. Please let us know if you have any suggestions in terms of themes, format, etc.

Answer: Facebook as a way to introduce each other and stay in touch? I also think that organizing a thematized conference with our affiliated institutions in Japan would be a way to enhance the connections that fellows made and affiliating institutions.
