1. Please describe briefly how the Japan Foundation Fellowship experience influenced your career.

Answer: My JF fellowship was crucial for my graduate studies, helping me do the in-depth studies necessary for my doctoral dissertation at Princeton. I had a wonderful experience working with my academic mentor, Nagahara Keiji, at Hitotsubashi University. It was one of the best experiences of my life. Funding from the Japan Foundation made that experience possible.

2. The Japan Foundation is planning to create a network or forum among past Japan Foundation fellows. Please let us know if you have any suggestions in terms of themes, format, etc.
