1. Please describe briefly how the Japan Foundation Fellowship experience influenced your career.

Answer: All of my associations with Japan Foundation and CGP have been life changing. CGP supported my first film in Japan, STRUGGLE AND SUCCESS and Japan Foundation supported post production on both DOUBLES and AFTER AMERICA....AFTER JAPAN. I was the recipient ot two Japan Foundation Research Fellowship that were devoted to the development of my current Okinawa based project. As well, the Japan Foundation offices in LA hosted numerous screenings of my films and the NY office hosted a forum for my film at the Nippon Club.

2. The Japan Foundation is planning to create a network or forum among past Japan Foundation fellows. Please let us know if you have any suggestions in terms of themes, format, etc.

Answer: I think the database should function more like a page on Facebook to allow interactivity between alums of Japan Foundation programs. The page should also allow members to post papers, photos and even short videos.
