The Japan Foundation carries out all types of arts exchange programs in its endeavors to deepen mutual understanding between Japan and other countries of the world. Emphasis is placed on the introduction of the traditional and contemporary arts of Japan overseas and the introduction of overseas arts in Japan.
The Japan Foundation, New York is proud to offer the World Heritage photo panels to cultural and educational institutions throughout the US, to introduce the breadth of these great cultural heritage sites in Japan.
This program is designed to provide financial assistance to exhibitions introducing Japanese art and culture to audiences overseas.
In order for effective international exchange in the arts, the Japan Foundation promotes exchange among curators and collects/disseminates art information.
