The Japan Foundation Short-Term Research Fellowships give established scholars, researchers and professionals the opportunity to conduct intensive research in Japan, such as collecting data and materials, and interviewing for short-term periods, ranging from 21 to 60 days. This program is intended for projects substantially related to Japan in the fields of the humanities and social sciences, including comparative research.
