Institutional Project Support-Small Grant Program (New Program)
In response to the difficulties that many institutions are facing in maintaining current levels of infrastructure in the wake of the severe budgetary cuts caused by the global financial crisis and cuts in funding for Japanese studies in the US, the Japan Foundation, New York is pleased to announce the launch of this new program in Japanese studies. Through this new grant opportunity, grants of up to $25,000 will be given to institutions that execute proposals designed to maintain and advance the infrastructural scale of Japanese Studies at their institution.
Grant support in this round will be given for project activities taking place within one year of award.
Application materials must arrive at the JFNY office no later than October 15, 2012.
